Delivery cost is additional to the cost of your gift.
For all delivery related questions, please see our page titled ‘Delivery’, this should answer all your questions, if not, feel free to phone us.


Due to the current Lockdown in Sydney and surrounding areas, and the flow on affect this has on our couriers workload, we are temporarily unable to offer same day delivery at this stage.

Orders for next day delivery (depending on destination – please refer to our guidelines below) must be placed by 12pm to ensure we are able to get them made up and booked with our drivers.


FRUIT & FLOWER ORDERS – We know that many of our customers have been disappointed with being unable to order Fruit & Flowers.

With the ongoing lockdown restrictions, and variations of these restrictions throughout Australia.

Our website is currently unable to offer fruit or flowers by ordering online.

If you would like to phone or email us (details in ‘contact’ section of our website) we will be able to advise whether the suburb you are wanting to send to would be possible.

We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.


For deliveries of flowers in ‘The Hills District’ (Northwest Sydney) orders can be placed online with our sister business Vogue in a Vase.

Fruit Baskets

The pictures seen on our website are a good indication of what you can expect to receive. As availability of fruits and baskets change from season to season and location to location, occasionally substitution is necessary.

We are often asked why we don’t list exact fruits and quantities of each fruit included in our baskets.

The reason we do not do this is that the availability, quality and cost of fruits change throughout the different months / seasons of the year. If a particular type of fruit is particularly expensive, we will normally put less of this type of fruit in, and more of other varieties. Quality – for example, at certain times of the year and particularly humid weather, strawberries can be of inferior quality, at these times, we will substitute strawberries normally with cherries, lychees, longans and extra grapes.  We do not manufacture our baskets, we create them to be a gift that we would be happy to receive ourselves.

When Placing Your Order

As you progress through the ordering process, you will be able to add a ‘card message’, select a ‘preferred delivery date’, and add any ‘special instructions’.
When selecting a preferred delivery date, please refer to our delivery time guidelines located in the ‘Delivery’ on the home page.

Promotional Codes

To redeem your product or discount you must enter a valid promotional code at the checkout.

  • Not for use in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Code may be used once only in any calendar month.
  • If your promotional code states it is valid for a particular item, it is not available to use on any other products.
  • If the promotion period has ended, your code will not work.


Images found on this site are used as guides and occasionally an item may need to be substituted for similar product of same or greater value. Contents for each product may vary slightly due to regional & seasonal availability. Send a Basket reserves the right to make fair and reasonable substitutions according to the practical availability of stock items, flowers and containers.


All prices quoted, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of GST.  All prices, unless otherwise stated, are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).  Product prices do not include delivery fees

Bulk / Multiple orders

This is designed for customers who are wanting to order multiple items, or place multiple orders at the same time, rather than individual purchases directly via the website.

It gives the capability to order same or varying products to be delivered to one or multiple addresses.

If you’re ordering on behalf of a company, you may like to choose to have ribbon to match your company colours, and have your own gift cards included in your gifts, or we supply cards free of charge.
